The Russian Dossier
The Buzzfeed report on Trump that has yet to be verified is interesting on several levels. It would have been an absolutely smashing novel as an update to “The Manchurian Candidate.” I wish I had written it two years ago. … Continue reading

We have a President-Elect
The election is over and we have a President-Elect. Here is a list of my thoughts in regard to the election – in no particular order: Hillary actually won the popular vote: 48% to 47% or 60,839,922 for Hillary versus … Continue reading

Trump will never learn
OMG! Just when I thought American politics couldn’t get ruder or cruder. After losing the first debate, The Donald gets worse instead of learning from the experience and trying to recover and improve for the second debate. Instead, he insults … Continue reading

Coming back from Ireland to the current political situation in the U.S. is so depressing. We have candidates who are a laughing stock around the world. Yes, Washington hasn’t worked well for many years. Yes, I get the criticisms against … Continue reading

A government should not be ‘unpredictable’
“Unpredictable” is not something this country’s government should be. How Donald Trump can think his speech was successful and his jumble of policies would benefit the U.S. is a sign of how horrible he might be as Commander in Chief. … Continue reading
Imagine a Trump and Putin ‘bromance’
I didn’t win the lottery so I can’t buy an island in the Caribbean to run away and ignore American politics and Vladimir Putin. While still watching the news and being depressed I was overwhelmed with the image of Donald … Continue reading

Enough of Donald Trump
Enough of Donald Trump and his idea to block all Muslims coming into the United States. It will never pass legal scrutiny nor become law. It is also an idea that can harm Americans and our country. Handing lunatics a … Continue reading

Escape from Inauguration!
So instead of being in D.C. where protests led to 95 arrests during Inaugural Day, we escaped to Tulum, Mexico, to loll in the sun, drink Margaritas, and eat fresh guacamole and shrimp tacos. I highly recommend it!
