No policy, just a yummy after Thanksgiving recipe

Happy Thanksgiving!  My gift to all of you is very simple this year — no blog post about policy, simply a recipe for your leftovers that has a fun twist.  It’s called “Glenn’s Leftover Sandwich Recipe.”

The ingredients are very simple – turkey, good bread, brie cheese, and her cranberry relish.  The relish is easy to make and due to the alcohol content, it lasts a long time in the refrigerator.

Recipe:

One bag of cranberries

1/2 of orange with skin

¼ of lemon with skin

1/4 cup of pineapple

sugar to taste

a heavy hand of peach brandy

Put everything in a food processor and voila! The combination of tastes is amazing. Make certain you eat it while sipping a great glass of white wine, such as a Meursault.

Enjoy your time off, holiday shopping madness and making memories with your families. I’ll see you next week!

Yum!! And the heavy hand of brandy…or any alcohol…is good anytime.
